New Delhi, June 8 -- Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) Chairperson, Tuhin Kanta Pandey, said the capital markets are increasingly emerging as a core avenue for household savings and wealth creation in India.
He said it is reflecting a structural shift in how Indians are investing and participating in the country's growth story.
While speaking at the ICICI Securities India Investor Conference 2026, Pandey said, "Capital markets are increasingly becoming a core avenue for household savings and wealth creation."Pandey further said on the Portfolio Management Services (PMS) regulations, extensive deliberations are underway and a consultation paper will be released soon.
