Vijayapura, Aug. 2 -- A section of candidates boycotted the Civil Police Constable recruitment examination at an examination centre in Karnataka's Vijayapura district on Saturday, alleging irregularities in the distribution of question papers and OMR answer sheets, officials said.
The protest occurred at the Sharadamba Educational Institution examination centre in Tikota town after candidates claimed there was a delay in the distribution of question papers and OMR sheets. They also alleged that the serial numbers on the question papers and OMR answer sheets did not match, leading to confusion during the examination.
