New Delhi, Aug. 9 -- Delhi Minister Pravesh Sahib Singh on Sunday alleged that the CAG report released on August 7 has exposed financial irregularities worth around Rs 3,500 crore under the previous AAP government led by Arvind Kejriwal.
Addressing a press conference, Singh said the audit report, covering the period up to March 31, 2023, pointed to lapses in GST collection, public procurement, electricity subsidies and infrastructure projects.
"Arvind Kejriwal flouted rules, conducted 1,185 manual tenders and inserted arbitration clauses in tenders," Singh alleged, accusing the former government of causing losses to the public exchequer.
