New Delhi, June 10 -- The union Cabinet on Wednesday approved the construction of a new Central Government General Pool Office Accommodation (CGGPOA) complex in Andhra Pradesh's capital city Amaravati, marking a significant step in the Centre's efforts to strengthen administrative infrastructure in the state's greenfield capital.
Announcing the decision after a meeting of the Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs (CCEA), Information and Broadcasting Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw said the project would provide a modern, integrated office complex to accommodate multiple Central government departments and agencies under one roof.
