Hyderabad, May 1 -- Senior IPS officer C V Anand on Friday assumed charge as the Director General of Police (DGP) of Telangana, marking a key development in the State's law enforcement leadership.
Several senior police officials congratulated him on the occasion.
Addressing a press conference after taking charge, Anand expressed gratitude to Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy and the State government, stating that serving as the head of the police force is a cherished milestone for any IPS officer.
