Dumka, March 10 -- Bus services remained completely suspended at the Dumka Bus Stand on Tuesday following a call by the Santhal Pargana Motor Mazdoor union and several other organisations protesting against the shooting incident involving union president Arun Singh and the failure to arrest the accused.

Bus owners and employees staged a sit-in protest at the bus stand, leading to a complete halt in bus operations. Not a single bus departed from the stand since morning, causing significant inconvenience to passengers.
