Srinagar, Sept. 1 -- A day after questioning the lending pattern, recruitment policy and board composition of the Jammu and Kashmir Bank, former Jammu and Kashmir finance minister and Apni Party president Altaf Bukhari on Tuesday urged political parties and various social and business groups to come together to protect the interests and character of the premier financial institution.
In a appeal, Bukhari said his concerns stemmed from what he termed the bank's "gradual drift away from the interests of the people of Jammu and Kashmir".
