Mumbai, June 7 -- A builder Salman Dolare, accused in multiple cases related to unauthorized constructions and alleged fraud, was arrested in Kalyan town in adjoinining Thane district, police said here on Sunday.
He was absconding since last nearly two years after several cases were registered under various provisions, including the Maharashtra Regional and Town Planning Act (MRTPA) and cheating-related offences. The arrest was carried out by Bazaar Peth Police.
Investigators allege that Dolare constructed and marketed flats in four disputed residential buildings-- Yusuf Heights, JM Tower, Zamzam Villa and Mariam Tower-- located in different parts of Kalyan using forged and misleading documents, resulting in substantial financial losses f...
