Hyderabad, May 28 -- Bharat Rashtra Samiti (BRS) Working President K T Rama Rao (KTR) on Thursday launched a sharp attack on Telangana Minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy over housing construction promises and challenged the Congress government to first build 20 lakh Indiramma houses before asking people for votes.
Referring to Ponguleti's earlier statement that the Congress would seek votes only after providing 20 lakh houses, KTR, in a statement, questioned whether the minister had the courage to stand by his promise.
He alleged that Congress leaders had made a habit of issuing dramatic statements and later escaping accountability.
