Shimla, April 2 -- The Himachal Pradesh Legislative Assembly adjourned sine die on Thursday after the Budget Session, conducting and deliberating business over 16 sittings spread across two phases.
The session commenced with the Governor's address on February 16, setting the policy agenda for the government, and resolution was passed on February 18 to restore the Revenue Deficit Grant.
The session was temporarily adjourned till March 18.
Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu presented the general budget of the state for financial year 2026-27, on March 21. Subsequently, the House undertook detailed discussions on the Budget for 2026-27, which was later passed along with related financial business on March 30.
