Srinagar, July 31 -- A Border Security Force (BSF) Assistant Sub-Inspector died after allegedly shooting himself with his service rifle in the Boniyar area of north Kashmir's Baramulla district on Friday, officials said.
The deceased was identified as ASI Shirdat Singh, a resident of Muzaffarnagar, Uttar Pradesh. He was around 56 years old and was serving with the 175 Battalion BSF.
