Bulandshahr, April 9 -- A horrifying incident has emerged from Bulandshahr district of Uttar Pradesh, where a stepmother allegedly killed her 3-year-old daughter in a brutal assault.
The incident took place on Wednesday in Surjawali village under Pahasu police station limits, officials said on Thursday.
According to reports, the accused woman, Poonam, often mistreated her stepchildren.
On the day of the incident, she reportedly lost her temper over a minor issue and began beating both children-Virat (6) and Kavya (3). While the elder brother managed to escape, the younger child could not.
