Hyderabad, May 31 -- Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) Working President K T Rama Rao on Sunday questioned Congress leader Rahul Gandhi over the alleged failure to fulfil promises made to auto drivers in Telangana during the 2023 Assembly elections.
In a post on social media platform X, KTR asked Rahul Gandhi to explain the status of assurances given to auto drivers in Telangana before making "grand new promises" in Delhi.
He said the Congress party had promised to establish a welfare board for auto drivers and provide Rs 12,000 annually to each driver. However, he alleged that even after 30 months of Congress rule in the state, none of the promises had been implemented.
