Hyderabad, July 18 -- Telangana Fisheries Chairman Mettu Saikumar on Saturday launched a sharp attack on the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS), accusing the previous government of failing to provide employment opportunities to unemployed youth during its 10-year rule and attempting to politicise the issue after losing power.

Addressing a press conference at Gandhi Bhavan, Saikumar alleged that the previous BRS government "buried job opportunities" and failed to provide job opportunities for the youth. He questioned why the BRS had begun speaking about unemployment only after being voted out of office.
