Pune, May 18 -- Young women have a promising future in the aviation sector, said Aditi Tushar Kevate, who recently completed her pilot training in the United States and reckons she is a role model apart from being a trail blazer.
In a chat with mediapersons here on Monday, she emphasized that although aviation has traditionally been considered a male-dominated profession, India currently has one of the highest numbers of women pilots in the world.
Aditi said that she always wanted to pursue an unconventional career. After completing her school education, she explored various professional fields through discussions and interactions with experts. During her higher secondary education, she decided to build a career as a pilot.
