Kochi, July 6 -- The two-day BRICS Women's Working Group (WWG) Meeting commenced here on Monday under India's BRICS Chairship 2026, bringing together senior government officials from BRICS member countries to deliberate on women's empowerment, women-led development and enhanced cooperation on issues of shared interest.
Inaugurating the meeting, Anil Malik, Secretary, union Ministry of Women and Child Development, said that although geography separated the participating nations, their shared commitment to advancing women's empowerment had kept them closely connected.
