NIKHIL VYASNew Delhi, May 15 -- BRICS nations on Friday criticised unilateral economic sanctions and reaffirmed that the bloc does not impose or support non-UN Security Council authorised sanctions that are contrary to international law.

However, there were differing views among some members of the bloc on the West Asia situation.
