Nahan, May 19 -- A breastfeeding room has been opened at the Himachal Road Transport Corporation (HRTC) bus stand complex in Nahan to provide privacy and convenience for women travelling with infants, officials said on Monday.
The facility, which will operate daily from 8 am. to 8 pm., was set up following government directives issued about a month ago, Station In-charge Anil Kumar told reporters.
The initiative aims to address the difficulties faced by mothers who previously had to feed infants in open areas at the bus stand.
