New Delhi, March 30 -- Delhi Assembly Speaker Vijender Gupta on Monday hit out at the opposition, stating that it is a matter of concern how its members displayed a completely negative approach during the recent session of the House.
He said it was unfortunate that the opposition chose to abstain from the House proceedings in the name of protest, despite there being no substantive issue.
Gupta called this situation unprecedented in legislative practice, where members abstain without a clear issue.
