New Delhi, July 21 -- Zimbabwe captain Sikandar Raza believes the upcoming three-match T20I series against India will be evenly contested, insisting the visitors should not be considered overwhelming favourites despite being the reigning T20 World Cup champions.
The series begins on Thursday at the Harare Sports Club, with all three matches scheduled to be played at the same venue.
India head into the series after a difficult run in white-ball cricket. Under new T20I captain Shreyas Iyer, they suffered a 2-0 series defeat to Ireland before being whitewashed 4-0 by England. India also lost the subsequent ODI series against England 2-1 under Shubman Gill.
