Kolkata, March 12 -- : Hours before the swearing-in of West Bengal's new Governor Ravindra Narayan Ravi on Thursday, outgoing Governor C. V. Ananda Bose stirred fresh political speculation with an emotional open letter addressed to the people of the state.
Ravi is scheduled to take oath at Lok Bhavan (formerly Raj Bhavan) at 11:30 am on Thursday.
Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, Assembly Speaker Biman Banerjee, and several senior officials of the state administration are expected to attend the ceremony.
