Mumbai, July 8 -- The Bombay High Court on Wednesday granted interim relief to Bollywood actor and IPL team co-owner Preity Zinta. The court directed Google, Meta, and other online platforms to remove objectionable content mentioned in her petition that allegedly uses her identity without her permission.
Justice Madhav Jamdar passed the order after hearing Zinta's petition, which claimed that around 275 YouTube links contained AI-generated, morphed, or edited images and videos using her face and likeness. She argued that this content violated her personality, publicity, and moral rights.
