Mumbai, Aug. 5 -- The Bombay High Court has quashed an FIR registered against a Zilla Parishad School Headmaster in Pune district on the charge of failing to discharge duties as a Booth Level Officer (BLO) during the ongoing Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls.

The Court observed that election authorities ought not to have assigned election-related duties to the headmaster during school hours, particularly when he was required to discharge his primary responsibility of teaching and managing the school.
