Patna, April 10 -- Panic briefly gripped the Bihar Legislative Assembly today after an anonymous email threatened to blow up the premises.
However, a thorough check by security agencies found no explosives or suspicious materials.
The in-charge secretary of the assembly took immediate cognisance of the threat and alerted the police administration.
Acting swiftly, security agencies including the Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS), sniffer dog units and local police conducted an intensive search operation across the Assembly complex.
Officials confirmed that no explosives or suspicious objects were detected during the check.
