Nahan, Nov. 7 -- On Dhanteras, a Bolero vehicle went out of control and fell into a deep ditch near Dungaghat on the Shimla-Nahan road in the Pachhad subdivision of Sirmaur district. One person died and 10 others were injured in the accident.
According to reports, the accident occurred around 10:30 am. Upon receiving information about the accident, Pachhad SDM Priyanka Chandra arrived at the scene and initiated relief and rescue operations.
A local rescue operation was conducted and all the injured were taken to Sarahan Hospital for treatment. Some of the injured are reported to be in critical condition.
