Beijing, Sept. 23 -- Argentina's Boca Juniors and Lithuania's Rytas Vilnius won over Beijing Royal Fighters and RSSB Tigers from Rwanda, respectively, as the 2026 FIBA IntercontinentalCup kicked off here.
The Royal Fighters had a slow start on home court, while the Boca Juniors controlled the pace to finish the first quarter 24-22. Although the Boca Juniors didn't find rhythm in three-pointers, they had a smooth teamwork to extend the lead to 16 points at halftime on Tuesday.
