Pune, July 15 -- The 47th blood donation camp organised in memory of late Rakesh Devchand Jain was conducted with great enthusiasm under the joint aegis of Poona Hospital and Research Centre and Shri Jin Kushal Seva Mandal.
A total of 101 volunteers donated blood, demonstrating their commitment to humanitarian service and social responsibility, said a release.
The camp commenced with prayers in remembrance of Lord Mahavir. Addressing the gathering, dignitaries described blood donation as a noble act, emphasising that regular donation not only benefits society but also enables donors to monitor their health and become more conscious of their well-being.
