New Delhi, July 22 -- Proceedings in both Houses of Parliament were disrupted on Wednesday as Opposition parties stepped up their protest over the alleged NEET-UG paper leak, irregularities in competitive examinations and the recent police action against student protesters, leading to the adjournment of both Houses till 12 noon.

The Lok Sabha and the Rajya Sabha witnessed noisy scenes shortly after they assembled for the day, with Opposition members raising slogans and demanding a discussion on what they described as a deepening crisis in the country's examination and recruitment system.
