Hyderabad, Feb. 22 -- Telangana BJP president N. Ramchander Rao on Sunday warned the Congress government in the state against what he termed as "illegal arrests" and "false cases" against his party workers and Hindu activists.
Addressing the media, Rao alleged that 70 to 80 BJP leaders, workers and Hindu activists were taken into custody in Banswada in Kamareddy district, condemning what he described as police atrocities.
He claimed that no worker of the All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (MIM) was arrested, alleging that the state government was functioning under the influence of its chief Asaduddin Owaisi.
