Kolkata, Oct. 5 -- Bharatiya Janata Party's (BJP) West Bengal president Samik Bhattacharya on Monday said the party would not allow "Trinamoolisation" of its organisation, amid the induction of former TMC leaders, including actor and former Rajya Sabha member Koel Mallick.
Mallick joined the BJP on Monday and filed her nomination as the party's candidate for the Rajya Sabha by-election from West Bengal. Her induction comes after former TMC Rajya Sabha MPs Sukhendu Sekhar Ray, Sushmita Dev and Prakash Chik Baraik joined the BJP earlier this year.
Bhattacharya said the BJP would distinguish between those joining the party out of political conviction and people seeking to take advantage of its electoral success.
