New Delhi, June 2 -- The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) on Tuesday alleged that an FIR registered against its Delhi unit chief, Saurabh Bhardwaj, was an attempt to silence him for raising concerns over the alleged sexual assault of a three-year-old girl at a school in west Delhi's Janakpuri area.

Addressing a press conference, Bharadwaj claimed that the FIR was lodged after he publicly raised questions about the handling of the case and named the school where the alleged incident took place.
