Shimla, April 7 -- The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Tuesday vowed to take on the Congress government in Himachal Pradesh, accusing it of overburdening citizens with rising taxes, escalating inflation, and poor governance.
Addressing the two-day state working committee meeting in Mandi, BJP state president Rajeev Bindal said the people of the hill state are "completely exhausted" under what he called the Congress government's "loot model," and pledged to raise public grievances from the streets to the assembly until corrective action is taken.
