Shillong, May 6 -- Meghalaya Sports and Youth Affairs Minister and senior National People's Party (NPP) leader, Wailadmiki Shylla said that the BJP's landslide victory in West Bengal and Assam would not necessarily be replicated in Meghalaya.
"From what I can understand and see, the people still trust the NPP under the able leadership of Chief Minister Conrad Sangma. No one can deny the kind of development in the past few years under the leadership of the Chief Minister and both the Deputy Chief Ministers (Prestone Tynsong and Sniawbhalang Dhar)," Shylla said.
"I am fully confident that people will definitely be with us and give us the opportunity to serve them in the future," the NPP leader asserted.
