Kolkata, April 1 -- West Bengal's ruling Trinamool Congress chairperson Mamata Banerjee on Wednesday accused the BJP of attempting to divide the state by playing the communal card and urged the people to thwart any such designs.
Addressing a gathering at Baroan in Murshidabad district, Banerjee said, "The BJP is anti-Muslim and the names of those belonging to the minority community have been dropped arbitrarily during SIR (Special Intensive Revision) of the electoral rolls.
Banerjee cautioned the people in the Muslim-majority district that those whose names were deleted from the voters' list could find themselves in detention camps.
