Ashok RainaDharamshala, June 2 -- The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has consolidated its political dominance in Dharamshala, securing a decisive mandate in both the Municipal Corporation and Block Development Committee (BDC) elections, according to party leaders.

Following the victory of BJP-backed candidates in 11 of the 17 wards of the Dharamshala Municipal Corporation, BJP-supported members have also emerged dominant in the Dharamshala Block Committee.

Of the 18 Block Committee members, 14 are said to be backed by the BJP, paving the way for the formation of the committee with a comfortable majority.
