Bengaluru, April 25 -- Leader of the Opposition in the Karnataka Legislative Council, Chalavadi Narayanaswamy, on Saturday criticised the state government's decision on internal reservation, terming it arbitrary and detrimental to Scheduled Caste communities.
Addressing mediapersons at the BJP state office, Jagannath Bhavan, he alleged that the Siddaramaiah-led Congress government had taken a decision in a manner that "left communities to fend for themselves," without a clear or just framework. He further claimed that the Deputy Chief Minister was not present during the decision-making process, indicating possible internal differences within the government.
