Bhubaneswar, July 25 -- The ruling BJP on Saturday accused the opposition Biju Janata Dal (BJD) of indulging in "cheap and unethical politics" over the Puri Rath Yatra, asserting that the Mohan Majhi Government had spared no effort to ensure the smooth and orderly conduct of the annual festival despite an unprecedented influx of devotees.
Addressing a press conference, BJP state general secretary Biranchi Narayan Tripathy said the government, with the cooperation of the public, had made extensive arrangements to ensure the safe and seamless conduct of the Rath Yatra.
