Bengaluru, May 4 -- Karnataka BJP State President Vijayendra Yediyurappa on Monday said the party's performance in the Bagalkot and Davangere South bypolls, though short of victory, reflects increasing voter connect and organisational strengthening on the ground.
In a statement translated from Kannada, Vijayendra said the "relentless efforts and resolute struggle" of party workers had helped the BJP significantly expand its reach in both constituencies, even if the final electoral outcome did not go in the party's favour. He described the results as a "stepping stone" for future victories.
