Bengaluru, June 24 -- The debate over Karnataka's Gruha Lakshmi scheme has intensified once again, with the Opposition demanding a detailed probe into alleged discrepancies in beneficiary data and fund transfer processes under the flagship welfare programme.
The BJP has raised concerns over what it describes as irregularities in the implementation of the scheme, pointing to issues related to verification of beneficiary accounts and the flow of direct benefit transfer (DBT) payments.
