New Delhi, Aug. 29 -- The BJP is strengthening engagement with young people across the country with party president Nitin Nabin on Saturday chairing an important meeting aimed at addressing issues concerning the youth and enhancing engagement with the politically critical group.

According to sources, senior BJP leaders from different states such as Gujarat Deputy Chief Minister Harsh Sanghavi, Chhattisgarh Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Sharma, and newly anointed general secretary Smriti Irani participated in the meeting to prepare for the upcoming assembly polls in seven states. The meeting was attended by new BJP Yuva Morcha president Hemang Joshi and his predecessors Anurag Thakur, Poonam Mahajan and Tejasvi Surya.
