Lucknow, June 30 -- Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Rajya Sabha member and former Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Dinesh Sharma on Monday accused opposition parties of attempting to undermine public faith in the Ayodhya Ram Temple, amid a political row over allegations of irregularities in the handling of donations made to the temple trust.
Responding to allegations raised by opposition leaders, Sharma said those questioning the management of donations were the same people who had earlier "challenged the existence of Lord Ram" and had stayed away from the Ram Temple movement.
