Dharamshala, June 1 -- Himachal Pradesh BJP Vice-President Pawan Kajal on Sunday said the results of the Dharamshala Municipal Corporation elections reflected the people's preference for development-oriented politics over appeasement and served as a strong message to the state government.

Reacting to the civic poll outcome, Kajal, who was also the BJP in-charge for the Dharamshala Municipal Corporation elections, claimed that voters had rejected what he termed the "misgovernance and anti-people policies" of the Congress government during its three-and-a-half-year tenure.
