Nagpur, July 22 -- : BJP Maharashtra president Ravindra Chavan on Wednesday alleged that the agitation in Delhi was entirely "sponsored" and that the Opposition's sole agenda was to exploit a political opportunity.
Chavan was speaking in Nagpur during various social initiatives organised to mark the birthday of Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis.
He said that while a wave of development was sweeping across the country under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the Opposition had been left with no positive issue to present before the people.
As a result, it was attempting to vitiate the atmosphere through protests, he alleged.
