Bengaluru, June 5 -- Karnataka BJP President Vijayendra Yediyurappa on Friday claimed that the ruling Congress government's internal conflicts could push the state towards political instability and even lead to mid-term elections, saying the resignation of a senior minister within days of Cabinet formation had exposed deep divisions within the party.
"The developments unfolding in the Congress indicate growing instability in the government and point towards the possibility of mid-term elections in Karnataka," Vijayendra said in a statement while reacting to the resignation of Water Resources Minister Ramalinga Reddy.
