Panchkula, June 16 -- Jananayak Janata Party (JJP) Youth State President Digvijay Singh Chautala on Tuesday accused the BJP government of failing to address the challenges faced by dairy farmers, alleging that rising inflation and increasing input costs have pushed livestock owners into severe financial distress across Haryana.
In a statement issued here, Chautala said the sharp rise in prices of daily-use commodities has adversely affected all sections of society, but dairy farmers and livestock rearers have been among the worst hit.
He claimed that while the cost of maintaining milch animals has increased significantly, milk prices have not risen proportionately, resulting in mounting losses for producers.
