BJP only viable alternative to Congress, BRS in Telangana: Ramchander Rao

Hyderabad, June 30 -- Telangana BJP President N Ramchander Rao on Tuesday asserted that the BJP has emerged as the only credible alternative to the Congress and the BRS in the state and called upon party workers to strengthen the organisation ahead of the next Assembly elections.

Addressing the BJP State Executive Council meeting, Ramchander Rao, who completed one year as the state party president, said the BJP was a cadre-based party whose strength lay in its karyakartas.

He said the recent visit of BJP National President Nitin Nabin and other senior leaders reflected the party's commitment to Telangana and expressed confidence that the BJP would replicate its electoral successes in other states in Telangana.
