Nagpur, June 1 -- : BJP nominee and industrialist Arun Lakhani on Monday asserted that political ideologies and family relationships are separate matters, even as his son Sarang is set to marry Revati, daughter of NCP (SP) MP Supriya Sule, later this month.
Lakhani, who has been nominated by the BJP for the Chandrapur-Wardha-Gadchiroli constituency in the Maharashtra Legislative Council elections, said personal bonds should not be linked with political affiliations.
Speaking to a Marathi television channel after the BJP announced his candidature, Lakhani said Supriya Sule had extended her congratulations to him.
