New Delhi, April 7 -- Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP Praveen Khandelwal on Tuesday criticised Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge over his recent remarks targeting the BJP and the RSS, terming them "unfortunate" and against democratic values.
In a statement, Khandelwal said that such comments lower the standard of political discourse and create hostility in society.
He alleged that the remarks reflect frustration within the Congress party amid declining public support.
He further said that making provocative statements does not align with democratic principles, where political debate should be based on policies and ideas rather than rhetoric suggesting hostility or violence.
