Ratnagiri, July 22 -- BJP MLA Pramod Jathar has extended an open political invitation to Shiv Sena (UBT) legislator Bhaskar Jadhav, saying that the senior leader was needed in the Konkan region and in the ruling establishment.
The remark comes after Jathar and Jadhav shared the stage at a programme in Chiplun today organised to mark the birth anniversary of late leader Ajit Pawar.
Speaking to reporters after the event, Jathar said, "Konkan needs you and we need you," in what was seen as a direct political offer to Jadhav.
Jathar said Jadhav was a senior legislator with a distinct position in Maharashtra politics, but claimed that the Shiv Sena (UBT) was not giving him the responsibility he deserved and was not utilising his experience.
