Aizawl, Aug. 8 -- BJP Mizoram leaders representing the three autonomous district councils (ADCs) of Mizoram - Lai, Mara and Chakma - have urged the Centre to expedite the passage of the Constitution (125th Amendment) Bill, 2019, which has been pending in Parliament for several years.
A delegation met union Minister of State for Home Affairs Nityanand Rai at his residence in New Delhi on Friday and requested that the long-pending Bill be passed at the earliest, a statement from the Mizoram unit BJP said on Saturday.
